I always head in for a Parineeti film with great enthusiasm & anticipation. In all her previous ventures, she stood head and shoulders over anything & everything else. Post the promos of HTP, I expected this one to be no different and to a large extent, the trend continues. HTP turns out to be light, fun and engaging for most part filled with a bunch of looney, zany characters and sequences. It’s only towards the end, that it becomes a bit too melodramatic & feels stretched. However to its credit, it remains one of the quirkiest hindi flicks I’ve see in a long time – mostly due to a knockout performance from Parineeti. She laughs, cries, zips, zaps and zooms through a multitude of expressions straight into your heart. An underplaying Sidharth Malhotra and a host of well-cast supporting actors compliment her quite well. Wish some of the songs were better used and not crammed in right at the end. Pari hasee, main phasaa!
